Day 30 of “A 30 Day Journey into Stillness”
The practice of Stillness is simple. So very simple. So astoundingly simple, that in almost every moment of my adult life, I don’t see it. I entirely miss the shocking simplicity of the reality of my spiritual nature in, and — even as — God. (As heretical as that may sound!)
In this moment — “this naked now before God” — the heart awakens and the separated self is subsumed.
“Be Still and Know that I am God” (Psalm 46:10).
“From within the full realization of our imperfections & limitations, lie emerging recognitions of God.”
